Conservatory Styles

All conservatories are based on one of four styles, the Lean To (sometimes called a sun lounge), the Victorian, the Edwardian, and the Gable End. All of these styles are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit your requirements. In order to help you decide what might be right for you, here are a few things to consider.

Lean To

A Lean To is normally the cheapest option if you're on a tight budget. Their functional, modern design and simplicity creates maximum usable space and offers a practical solution for porches and bungalows as well as homes wanting an extension. Note: They are often combined with other styles to extend the usable space in a new conservatory.

Victorian

A Victorian adds style and elegance to any home; more decorative in appearance it makes an ideal dining room, play room, study, second lounge or extra ground floor room.

Edwardian

An Edwardian shares the elegance of a Victorian but adds the practicality of square corners to give you maximum usable space. Hipped Back Edwardians also provide a more traditional solution for bungalows where height is an issue.

Gable End

A Gable End shares many features of the Edwardian but differs in that it has a traditional Apex pitched roof with a flat front for that most traditional of finishes.
